Topic Overview: Overview: In today’s rapidly changing and highly competitive world, it has become imperative to keep abreast of time equipping yourself with certain skills to thrive in the workplace while managing burnout at its peak. This session will help participants understand the essentials of staying relevant in the workplace, build a reputable image in an organisation and get tips on self care in today’s ever busy changing world. Methodology Facilitative approach with the use of power-point presentation
Short Profile Bio: Ifeoma possesses over seven years’ experience in the International/ Global Development sector, spanned across Health, Youth Development, Community Engagement, International Affairs, Governance and Peace & Conflict Resolution fields. Having earned a bachelor’s in Business Administration and an MBA with a major in Human Resources, she proceeded to study at the Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, to become a Peace and Conflict Resolution Practitioner and a Rotary Peace Fellow. As an assiduous learner with an astute mind, she garnered skills and knowledge in Social sector leadership, Human Capital Strategy, Human Resources Wellness, among others. While at NCMG International/ ABN, she functioned coordinating and designing Programs within the country and internationally, while at the same time providing Human resources services. She is skilled in strategic planning, project management, program development, recruitment and selection, employee engagement, fundraising, partnership and coalition building. An active dedication to the social impact sector left her awarded by the State Governor of Taraba and the Local Government Counselor in Wukari, Nigeria for a meritorious and selfless contribution to the state. Ifeoma worked at the Institute for Work and Family Integration(IWFI), providing leadership oversight, human resources services, developing operational, funding and partnership strategies among other responsibilities. She is a 3-time fellow of prestigious fellowships and a current Atlas Corps fellow working with the Open Government Partnership, US, as a Human Resources Personnel. She is responsible for talent acquisition, program design, employee engagement, compliance, employee relations and a full spectrum of HR services. She is also a mentor at the Women of Color advancing peace and security, US and a member of the Society for human resources management.
