Wilson Erumebor – Senior Economist, Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) — Nigeria
Wilson Erumebor is a Senior Economist at the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), Nigeria’s foremost private sector-led think-tank. He is also a Lead Researcher on the NESG-OSIWA Debt Management Roundtable project, which aims to address the challenge of Debt Sustainability in ECOWAS. He has over a decade of experience and expertise in macroeconomic research, industry analysis and social & economic inclusion. Wilson has been a member several high-level Committees including the Technical Committee of the Nigerian Economic Summits, and has led the delivery of several impactful reports on developmental issues facing Nigeria such as the NESG Macroeconomic Outlook series on Inclusive Growth. In 2019, Wilson delivered a presentation on “Three Scenarios for Nigeria going into 2050” at the Nigerian Economic Summit, which had in attendance Nigeria’s President, Cabinet Ministers, State Governors and Private Sector CEOs. The presentation kick-started the on-going Nigeria Vision 2050 project, led by the Presidency. Wilson is member of the NESG Macroeconomics Team providing technical expertise to the Federal Government on the proposed Medium- and Long-Term Vision 2050 for Nigeria.
